With this coming into effect soon how/who will it effect:
1) will a military member that coined with ptsd by the va be denied?
2) if that person that applies for an sbr now, will they be they be denied when the law goes into effect while they are waiting months for approval?
3) is it only applicable to semi autos that aren’t shotguns?
4) will it possibly affect supressors in any way?
5) if a person had a mental related issue in their past and no longer does(medically documented) will that make them unlikely to be denied?
6) who are the ones that are going to be making the approvals and denials, how do yo appeal a denial?

Guess I'll take a stab at this. I am no lawyer though, so take it with a grain of salt.

1) Possibly, I would expect it has a lot to do with whether the VA reports the state as mental illness (I don't know)
2) If you would be denied after 1639 takes effect, then yes. However, if you buy the lower now and go form 1 (manufacture), the state would not be involved in the process from my understanding.
3) only applies to semi-auto RIFLES, not shotguns or pistols
4) Not that I know of.
5) I don't know.
6) DOL or WSP, I don't know.

Good luck. Maybe someone with more knowledge can comment.
