Are the trunnions going to be machined from steel, and then welded into that?
Are you planning on mounting optics on the barrel?
Looks like getting the bend above the ejection port right is a real challenge.

Yes weld in kits. Yup gotta build a better jig for bending was off by .002.. quick pass with the mill an ejection port was fine. The optics rails could be welded to the shell.
