Hello folks,
I am supposed to be doing a handgun transfer for the first time today and was wanting to make sure what I understand is actually what I am supposed to be doing.
As I understand it, log in my bound book the same as any other transaction. The part i am unclear about is the handgun xfer form. Do I have the receiving party fill out a 4473 and the handgun transfer or just the handgun transfer? The instructions make it sound as if I am only supposed to fill out the handgun transfer.
Thank you, PB

Might want to call your local ATF agent and get comfortable with this process...you certainly don't want to mess it up.

Agreed. I think I will call my IOI and make sure before I do anything. Looks like the guy is pushing the xfer until next week as well so that buys me a bit more time.
Thank you guys.
