SAF Reports Surge in 18-20 Age Group Members, Donors
:thumbsup2:
The Second Amendment Foundation has reported an astonishing 1,200 percent increase in memberships and donations from young adults in the 18-to-20-year-old age class over the past three weeks, evidently spurred by moves to restrict their gun rights in the wake of the tragic mass murder at a Florida high school.

Young adults flock to 2A groups after being targeted for gun control
:thumbsup2:
One of the nation’s most prominent Second Amendment organizations revealed Monday that it has seen an unprecedented surge in memberships and donations from young adults in the 18-to-20-year age group, possibly a reaction to suddenly finding themselves on the direct receiving end of a gun control push.

That is good news. Kind of surprising too.

I just wish it was 150 million pro-2A, pushing towards 200 million.

from what number to what number?
all unique contribitions?
are contributions and memberships counted seperately?
are the ages self-reported?
how did the new members find SAF? what's the most effective way to reach this age group!?

I didn't see the raw numbers, but I have no reason to doubt Gottlieb's report.
My guess is they are all "unique contributions" because that's how they count 'em
Ages are self-reported.
My understanding from reading his statement is that they found SAF via the internet. They searched and located. That's the interesting thing about search engines. Some people actually use them for useful stuff.

Thanks for the follow up. The numbers would be useful, you know, per Mark Twain...
