Antis crow over Oregon win, reveal next smoke and mirrors Washington push

:frust: :angryfire:
Gun prohibition lobbyists are crowing over their victory in Oregon yesterday – a win based largely on delusion, critics suggest – and they are already revealing their next target in neighboring Washington, and the entire country should be watching because if they can win in the Northwest, this effort will spread to other regions soon.

I see no exceptions for cpl holders, no exceptions for Fed license holders besides "dealers". Looks like individuals can call in the background checks in some situations. Gun registry info is required and kept for some amount of time.

There is mention of emergency in the description, so probably goes into effect upon signature.

Another feel good solution to a non-problem.

Lots of discussion over on NW Firearms. I think it's time like-minded folks move from these leftist states (such as ours) to freedom loving states and create a pro gun stronghold. The left coast is a lost cause for freedom and individual responsibility.

Detroit seems like a pretty decent candidate to establish a colony...

Didn't Oregon already close the gun-show loophole though?

It is a lost cause over here. With the move to the big cities, due to population and jobs, we're gonna get more fuckle nucker liberals eventually. The only thing we can hope for is a major economic shift that drives them out, like the post WW2 white flight from the cities or the big quake takes California, opening up more dessert for the liberals to grab up and transform into homes and golf courses while pushing their climate change and anti-gun agendas.

I wanted to fit in when I moved to Washington. Not with the East coast or Cali transplants, but with the non-Communist non-Seattle Washingtonians. In other words, the non-arrogant, non-elitist, non-douche bag Washingtonians. If only the native Washingtonians saw the threat back in the day and met the transplants at the border and gave them the big boot rectal propulsion back to their home cesspools...

It will only get worse. Vilification of guns and gun owners will continue. It starts with indoctrination of the children in schools with no tolerance policies and toy gun bans. With MSM and big money the gun control folks will continue their "common sense" reforms that chip away at freedom. Throw in a few bans; lead and shooting range for example, which will reduce gun ownership further, and gun rights will eventually become "obsolete". It's not a question of if but when.

What really sucks is that the PEOPLE had no say in it. The government assholes Politicians decided they knew better and they passed the law. I wonder how many campaign donations to foreign bank accounts were made.................................. :frust:

i really wouldn't be surprised if all those politicians in oregon are in bed with the criminal element. hell, the obama administration is in bed with the sinaloa cartel. they're the ones who benefited the most from fast and furious, their rivals were the ones getting busted here in the united states, and their stuff was given free pass along the pipeline and eventually into chicago for distribution.

although it is important to note prior administrations are guilty of doing the same thing, but this current one signed over with f&f and obama himself signed an executive order to stop the dirt coming to surface in the investigation for "national security reasons." it's really no wonder dirt bag, 2-bit politicians don't want the regular civilian population to be armed. an armed society gets in the way of the criminal element doing what they do.

I hate to say it, but "I told you so" as did a number of people on here that the next step was going to be mandatory secure storage etc.. Then comes how do they enforce that safe storage....

I pointed this out while Dave was bleating about 594 yet again, on a couple of unrelated incidents. But heads were kept in the sand.

WAGR is just starting up the marketing campaign machine on "safe storage". Go check their FB page they just posted about it tonight, with a delightful picture of a child and guns.

Quitters no...

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
