On eve of 40th annual SHOT Show, gun control still front and center

Las Vegas is a couple of thousands miles from Charlottesville, Virginia, but one can almost hear the rumbling from the other as tens of thousands of firearms industry professionals gather for the 40th annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show.

Great article Dave. Once again, THANK YOU for switching to a much more user friendly, less pop-uppy, online media host. It's nice to be able to read your articles again without being inundated with crap.

There is no question that there is a cloud of concern over many peoples heads here. I have talked to a few who are not concerned on a national level, but a state/grassroots movement to push stronger gun control ideas. I'm sure that Franklin Armory will get lots of curious questions on how they continually push the envelope to defy and spotlight our asinine NFA laws, as well as the "what-if" questions that will be thrown at the brave souls behind the Slide-Fire tables.

We will know more about the crowd, the atmosphere and the future here in a couple of hours when the doors open to the show.
