I stopped at the Big 5 off Black Lake exit and gave them NOTHING but the money for my pass! They handed me the pass to fill out myself.....which I DIDN'T DO so I can use it in both my rigs..... Had a BLAST today, got to shoot a few of Steve's awesome collection of vintage rifles. Big props to Steve for being so generous, you have some fine rifles there and I know it's going to suck cleaning all my drool off them. Thanks a bunch! Sad note, once again I brought out WAY more ammo than I had time to shoot, so I wound up carrying all that heavy-ass shit back to the rig. You'd think I'd learn, right?

Yeah, tell me about it . . . I did the exact same thing. I was amazed at how heavy my bag was as we walked out. I don't know if I brought too much ammo, or if I didn't shoot enough. Maybe a little of both. One example: I brought almost 300 rounds of 9mm, and shot 36.

These Discovery Passes are bullshit to begin with. Maybe next time. Doug What info did they want? All they should need is license plate right? He scanned my DL and then asked for my SS#. Said it was for LE tracking , back child support ect. Got mine at Cabelas, and they didn't ask for squat (other than $35). So I can use it in both my cars. Edit: Just checked my pass, and yes there is a spot to write in your plate#. What a rip off that you can't transfer between cars since I can only drive one at a time. Had a good time, and thanks to TA my AK is better than new. That trigger job is amazing.

Mine came blank too, but you need to fill that in . . . so unfortunately you cannot use it in more than one car. I suppose you could try it and hope for leniency on the part of the ranger . . . .

I see I got out of there before the cameras got out. No evidence to link me to the shoot.
