Nice. thumbsup

Was this an organized, advertised thing? Or just an impromptu cleanup by a few folks?

A little of both. It was in SSCC. (Secret Squirrel Chat Club.) When all the cleanups were being organised, on the date we had planned to go shooting, we kinda shamed ourselves to do some cleanup as well. Some late-comer saw my hat and asked where the rest of the WAGunners were, or something.

My body hurts. Others have done more than I, have got to be really hurting.

We brought trash bags expecting to haul out some trash. Not a full cleanup by any means, but 280 lbs of eye-sore trash.

The best part was seeing kc0yef's face when he saw 4-5 people with garbage bags. You looked pretty happy! Thanks for the warm welcome at the pit, and the kudos here.

A lot of that was plastic - bottles, milk jugs, pieces of old electronics, PVC pipe, etc. Anyone who has done a cleanup knows you find all kinds of crap - from shower surrounds and TVs to toilets.

I am still relatively new to the forum here. I just got back from being stationed in California. I ran into a few members the other day at I5 guns but didn't know there was going to be a clean up of the area. I am interested in helping out in the future.

Jonathan...if that was you picking up a black hunk of plastic fantastic, glad you found your way here. Decent batch of good ol boys, tinfoil hatters, trolls, post counters that occasionally produce something usefull and can be helpful......sometimes

Yeah that was me. My son and I went up the the MWR range on Sunday and put some rounds through it. My son became an instant Glock fan so I can see myself buying a couple more at least. I am glad I picked that gun up when I did.

Someone that usually spearheads these things should schedule an official cleanup. I'd love to help! Is that private citizen, commercial or state land?

Have heard both. But I think it was broke down awhile ago and states private property.
