Rita & I will be bringing a big pot of curry like last year as well as our rice maker. We'll also bring a portable generator and a propane / white gas heater. We can bring a couple of Coleman stoves if they'd be of any use.

What are you bringing?

Dang. Curry and rice in the cold? That sounds unbelievably good!

I was thinking donuts and coffee but I may need to rethink to keep up with the Joneses. :-)

Rethink? Really? In what imaginary universe could you be wrong with donuts and coffee??
'F' the Jones! Sugar, carbs and caffine - always a winner!!

OK

We'll be doing a giveaway at some point during the day, too. Dan will bring some WaGuns schwag, and I'll bring a few knick-knacks as well.

If anyone has stuff to contribute to the giveaway, please bring it! We usually get a pretty good collection of cool stuff. thumbsup

I'm willing to contribute to the grub, but here's the deal, I don't want to walk over someone else or "compete" with someone. If someone's already bringing an entre I don't want to be competing there over that.

Here's what I'm thinking, and I would like some help here from the membership, some guidance so to speak

I will bring sodas, sodas are cheap and everyone likes them. I buy coke products and will bring three cases, classic coke is a given, anyone have special requests for the other two?

second, is an either/or

1) I work at a produce distributor and can get good prices on "side" fruits like apples or bananas. as in I can get them from my boss cheap by the case.

2) I can make a special family desert, but I'll need access to one gas burner if someone's bringing a grill with a burner suitable for pots.

I would assume I need to supply 50 people, approx, based on last year's turnout.

I have some stuff to give away, and raffle tickets. I will be working that day. So if some one is willing to swing by my house on the 27th or 28th to pick up the goodies?

Grub: Have to think about that one. Depends on what I can get the wife to make.

Gear: I have a stand up target frame that will need some pounding in. Also have a small AR500 target on a very short mount. Incidentally I won the target as a raffle item 2 years ago at the 1/1 shoot. I can bring a 6' table as well.

Raffle: Since I seem to have better luck than some finding .22LR, I will make a point to bring a 100rnd pack for the raffle. After my gear purge over the summer I don't have much left that's extra.
