Missed the breakfast, but made the shoot! My cousin, Ryan, from Seattle came down as he needed to learn to shoot. 27 years old, never shot a gun! He is getting married in August in Sun Valley, ID and part of the wedding weekend is skeet shooting!! Figured since he was coming down, may as well let him play with other toys as well. bhpdrew and Olydemon joined us at Evergreen with some of their arsenal to share too! I will say, he caught on really fast and was amazingly a great shot out of the box. He shot a plethora of calibers.. .22, 9mm, .357, .44spc, .44mag, .45, .223, 20ga and 12ga! Here are some pics of the event. Ryan shooting my XD9sc: Ryan shooting Drew's Walther/Waffle/Walter: Damon, Ryan and Drew shooting the clays. Ryan is very aggressive with the shotty: Drew's turn: Damon in the background: The three amigos: Also, have some vids! Click on the pics to view: Ryan "pull" and got it!: Ryan's first shot with Drew's .44 (that thing has a whollop!) And the final vid... I was doing well double tapping on the steel plates. Then, I decided to mock Drew's revolver for it's inability to perform such a feat.... Challange accepted. Here is Drew, double/triple/quad/quince tapping with .44 Magnum! Oh, one more thing to mention. Drew's one serious badass! We all come prepared for war, guns, ammo, targets and attitude. Drew come ready for comfort. Chuck Norris showed up to shoot today too. Took one look at Drew's feet and cried because even he wasn't that cool.

Great pics and vids, Dan! Did Drew hit the steel with all five of those shots from the revolver? If so . . . pretty damned impressive. If not . . . I suspect the BG still didn't walk away.

I suspect the BG still didn't walk away. That would be a no. I don't think he was aiming for the steel, just wanted to prove he could unleash a total of 1200 grains downrange fairly quickly.

The challenge was double tap. Not "hit the steel". What did we learn? Don't dare me to do something moderately foolish (yet safe) with firearms. 'cause I will.

I was actually doing pretty good on the Tactical Shotty. 870 with 18" BBL I was at about a 75% hit rate. I think the clays at evergreen are more Forgiving than those at RFGC.
I will also give some kudos to Ryan, I let him shoot 3 slugs in the rifle/pistol side to warm up before we went over to the clay side. After 2-3 misses in the beginning, he ended with an almost 50% hit rate!
