Just now reading this...I think I noted it but please be sure that my donation is directed either to Mrs. Nugent or to offset the cost of the tasting.

And how lovely to see Scott and Breck kilted up. Just saying.

All of the proceeds went to Doc's Widow Jen, Breck did the tasting on his own dime.

It was a good time.

Very generous of you, Jen. Thank you. I will get it to Mrs. Nugent.

It looked like a fun event. I really wish I could have made it.

The wife offered to drive me up there too but I didn't want to put her out. She has no interest in Scotch, or liquor in general so she would have felt really out of place.

Glad it was a success.

Steve, be sure and tell her that if she needs help with anything else there are members who would be willing to pitch in. Home repairs, etc.

Count me in as one. I think I'm pretty close by too.

Update . . . I received an email from Pamela today:

Quote:
Steve,
Finally rec'd the hospital statement--$94,544.04. Because of the generosity of the WA Guns group I was able to cover Michael's co-pay. Thank you again for your support. Still cleaning and sorting, and the organizing helps to keep me busy.
Note to all of you--go to the doctor!
Pamela

It's hard to believe it's been 4 years already. I was talking to another member the other day about this benefit tasting and i didn't remember how long ago it was.
Here's a toast to Doc Nugent, gone but not forgotten. :cheers2:

In line with a bottle of Michter's Small Batch unblended American Whiskey. Hope its good, for a buddy's house warming gift. Breck, I need a ruling.
