They run through little channels around the potholes, we shot them with 12 Gauges when i went to School there back in 1986 and 87. They would be in little 2-3 foot channels, like Fish in a Barrel.

Wasn't much to do but Fish, Shoot and Party in Moses Lake.

That doesn't sound too bad to me.

Nope, it was a good time. I would Fly during the day and go to class, then either Party and shoot anywhere from the Potholes to Rocky Ford creek towards Ephrata.

Farmers loved it when we shot all the Rabbits, Too many Cattle with Leg Injuries.

I’m down with Enumclaw and Kettle.

Can we set a hard date (maybe Friday mid-day) to tally the votes and make a hard decision on where to eat/meet? I don’t want to be checking this the day of and maybe go to the wrong spot.

I'm out.
Have to head to Packwood to check on camp Saturday and buried in remodeling, plus my tag along helper has blown out his knee and scheduling surgery so not getting the help now on the remodel.

2 Weeks out - I think it's time to start talking about food.
I'll start with breakfast - a very good place to start!

Some of us (me) have never been to Greenwater, so it would be great if we could meet-up, follow, ...
I think Bonney Lake would be a good start so I'll throw out Buttered Biscuit and Windmill to start.
For timing before driving up to the clean, I'll guess 8:00?

What say ye?

Can I make an alternate suggestion? How about the Kettle in Enumclaw, since it's closer to Greenwater and pretty much everyone will be going through Enumclaw anyhow?

I'll nominate the Kettle at 8:00. If we're on the road at 9:30 after breakfast, we'll hit the cleanup site at precisely 10:00. Anyone? If you're game for breakfast, please reply so that whoever gets there first will know how big a table we need. If you're not joining us for breakfast but are coming to the shoot/clean, chime in with that too! And all newbs are welcome, this is a great way to meet people. thumbsup

I'll start the list for breakfast:

I am on call, but if schedule is light I will come down from Everett. Been wanting to meet some of the WaGuns members for a while, sounds like a good time. Will second the Buttered Biscuit, I used to live in Sumner. Only worry is after the cornbread and chicken fried steak my poor old Explorer might not have the horsepower to get me to the cleanup site...

The Buttered Biscuit sounds like a great restaurant, but it's twice as far away from the cleanup site (1 hr vs. 30 min) and it will require some folks to go out of their way, which given the early start time could be a bit difficult. As O_Kellogg (the original nominator) is good with the Kettle, let's do that so we can maximize our attendance.

If it sucks, we'll do Buttered Biscuit next time.

So who do we have for breakfast so far?

CkinEverett maybe?

Anyone else?

The wife works, so I wil make it out. Looking forward to meeting some of you. Enumclaw seems the best meet up to me since wherever you come from you have to go thru there.
Count me in for breakfast. I’ll update if my son is able to make it.
