So who is doing a group buy on large capacity mags?
Just asking for a friend...

Not trying to be a dick, but mags are so dirt cheap these days, a group buy resulting in tiny savings is not worth the hassle/shipping/travel.
Mags are sooooooooo cheap and affordable.

Oh, who makes the best ones? Are we talking .223 AR platform? Yeah, that's a big can of worms. I'm a PMAG guy but have to admit, if you said I could have 50 of any brand to store away for a rainy decade, I'd go Lancer. Whatever the weapon, stay away from ProMag.

I like lancer, but they're the only one I had rust issues with so far.

Mags are sooooooooo cheap and affordable. ^This. A group buy would be unnecessarily complicated for what might amount to $0.20/mag in savings (if that). You're better off just doing a little research for the best price online and placing your own order. RocketScott's suggestion of Lanbo's is a good place to start.

Possibly interested if you're gonna order from Tombstone. I have Brownells business pricing if that helps as well, but they charge tax :(
