I'm super ignorant with NFA items. Would this work with a G19. Also, I'm planning on moving in about 5 months, would that affect my wait time?

Yessir, it would work with your G19. The background checks right now are in the 5ish to 5.5ish month mark. You'll be cutting it close and I cannot guarantee the ATF could help as then everyone could claim they are moving, but there's been some cases with Military members where they fast tracked some items.
