Working on a group buy through Rainier Ballistics. If you're in the market for some outstanding projectiles, send me a PM.

Has this gone anywhere? I wanted to do the same thing several months ago, but meeting the 30,000 bullet minimum for the bulk pricing proved to be a challenge.

^ I don't know anything about dealer pricing on bullets, but those prices just seem high to me. I guess that explains why prices in the stores ARE high!

For example, for 115-grain round nose 9mm Luger bullets, the dealer price is 7.5 cents. At Xtreme, I can get them for 8.3 cents (1000 pack) or 7.4 cents (4000 pack).

In both cases, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

The Rainier's have a habit of shredding at high velocity.

I have purchased lots of Rainier copper coated bullets at WAC gunshows in 9mm, 45 (long) Colt, and .38 Special. I think that they are great for serious reloading for range practice rounds.

Something to consider (maybe), is that the X-Treme hollow point bullets do not expand. They are designed for shooting steel targets. The Rainiers, however, DO expand. They are identical in design to the Speer Gold Dot bullet. (As per info I got from talking to Wes Sage).

But they frequently have free shipping specials, just have to stock up when there is free shipping. Everyone keeps 6mos+ of components onhand right?

Wes sells Xtreme 115gr round nose plated 9mm bullets for $7.6 cpr regularly and you don't have to buy 4000 to get that price... No shipping if you pick up but there is tax... Just saying, we could help out another member who has done a hell of a lot for many of us in the group buy getting our bullets from him and still get a great price.
