The one issue I see with paper targets, is that they do not do well at making clean holes, and if you group well, it gets even worse as normal paper just tears. If possible print them on heavier paper or even cardstock to get nice crisp bullet holes.

I shoot Hi-Points, and AK's, if I start grouping close enough that the type of paper makes a difference well the angels have smiled upon me!

Why? The Reference Section already has a sticky on this subject.

Fuuuuck. OK. But I seriously need to teach you how to do it one of these days, I'm tired of doing all this stuff myself.

You can also buy rite-in-rain printer paper to print targets on for the wet winter months. I have used it before with really good results. It's also think enough that it shows holes nice and clean.

Zeroing Target – 50/200 Yard Zero at 10 Yards

Nice. Just realize the distance from your scope centerline to bore centerline will affect your zero point as well.

I do a similar type of thing at home to boresight a rifle after adding a scope. I use 2.4" @ 10yrds, put a boresight laser in the gun, set it up and then dial the scope in to the other mark. only takes 1-2 shots at the range @25yrds to verify it is close and then I can go straight out to finish dial in actual zero and know I am on paper before I start.
