I’m sick of 1680 being so loud and filthy in 300 BO. So, I tried 11 grains of RE7 under 190 Nosler CC. Perfect function. Nice and quiet. Not too dirty. No idea on velocity, don’t have a speed machine.
8” AR pistol.

Interesting, I've always disliked how dirty 1680 is. Might have to try the RE7.

Decided to cut the boredom and load up 200 9mm.

124gr Rainier HP over 4.0gr TiteGroup. Nickel cases on 150 of them.

From what I understand, Rainier HPs are essentially the same as Speer Gold Dots. (As per Wes Sage).

Excited to see how they perform.

Did some garage cleaning and found a box of 5000 55gr 223 fmj and various other brass and bullets. I never got around to reloading after moving years ago but want start. I'll start reading through old threads to learn your ways.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't these basically identical to the 50 V-max? The only difference being the green vs red tip?

Yep. In the .224s, at least. I think when you go up to .308, it’s the same as the A-Max.

Finally starting up the press again after a long down-time. Loving the 650XL more as I use it.

Taking it slow given new to me press and continuous interruptions for puppy supervision. I installed a Mr. Bulletfeeer die and feeder mechanism a few months back and this has been it's first run. Just running my std 147grn RN Xtreme bullets over 3.6grn AA#2. No pictures as they are just getting stockpiled in an ammo can for the impending calamity. I will see if I can get a reasonable video of the Mr Bullet feeder running but no promises as filming with one hand while running the press does not make for very watchable video.

I am pretty happy with the bullet feed setup though. I have used Hornady bullet feeders for 9mm&45ACP for years, but the Mr BulletFeeder dies are hands down better performing so far. They are easier to setup and more consistent bullet drop, I did also get their powder thru expander upgrade which enhances the case flare for better bullet retention while the shellplate advances to the next station. I did not have a single bullet flip or fall off a case in 200rnds, with the previous setup they were teetering and a few would fall during shellplate movement.
