Then I decided I needed to get one. I un-boxed it today when it arrived in the mail. It's used but in great shape for a great price. It also came with a custom vertical mount and several adapters for different caliber brass. No more cursing that damned brass with the crimped primers!
And....... evidently it needed to be assembled. I've never touched one of these contraptions before so my Google-foo came in handy for assembly directions. It came together nicely!

I've been happy with mine, it's done a lot of brass for me. I dicked around with the rubber band tricks for a while to make it "full auto," but I finally went back to the stock configuration.
For common caliber brass I think there are some better solutions out there for some, like the Hornady on-press system. I haven't tried it, but I like what I've seen. But for a good all-around tool, the Dillon is still a winner!
I seen youtube videos on the Dillion 600 Super Swagger after I got my RCBS swagger die set. When we took the grandkids t the Great Wolf Water Park i stopped in to Mark"s place in Olympia and picked up the Dillion 600 Swagger. I will be mounting it vertical with the spring & cable like in the one video I seen. I have a shitload of crimped 223 and 9mm brass that needs to get done I do have a little crimped 308 brass.

i mount mine horizontal but put a box behind it. If you flick the tab just right the brass flies off in the box. I had to carve out the board so the tab goes below the surface. that way the metal post goes past 90 degrees.

I do something similar. I don’t cut away the bench though, so I guess mine won’t travel as far when I flick it. I put the box at roughly a 45-degree angle behind it, resting on something, and 99% of the cases will fly into the box.
I just hold mine to the bench with a cheap Harbor Freight woodworking clamp, I don’t bolt it down.

Steve,
I didn't realize there was a hyperlink under the text you posted earlier with a link to your thread on this subject. I'm at work now and disappointed because we have YouTube access blocked from our network (at least we don't block Waguns) and I can't see your video now. I'll have to check it out when I get home.
Thanks for posting your link and I apologize for a sorta kinda re-post on the topic.

Some other people may have a 650 what is the recommendation?
Probably to use a swage it. Dillon has said it voids your warranty to use it btw. Now the only thing I see breaking is the shell plate while using it but, how would they know what broke your press if you remove it before sending it in.

What press are you using Shawn? Is it a single stage or progressive?
