Starline advises to NOT use their 9mm cases in the S&W 9mm Shield pistols. What's up with this? I've fired a good amount of Starline 9mm in my Glock 43 and 48 and not seen any abnormal amount of "bulge" in the fired cases. I know that Glock has a reputation for under supported chambers. I long ago re-fitted my Glock 40s and 45s with after market "fully supported" barrels because of this. But all the Starline brass I've fired in my two little Glocks (with their stock factory barrels) has been just fine. Is there an issue with the S&W Shield barrel? I don't own one and never will due to S&W's policy of refusing to supply M&P pistol parts to all us mere "common citizens"....
I have owned several S&W 3rd gen autos in the past and never had any problems with them when it came to handloading ammo. But...they weren't a "Shield". So, do those little things have a issue?
