No. Wrong stuff. Unknown how it would work. You need the straight citric acid kind.

No. That’s the same stuff. Different label

I checked their website and I don’t see the Lemi shine original that I have

Here’s what I use:

And I know it works, because I accidentally ran a load without it last weekend. Blech.

1.5hrs = Clean and shiny for me

Yep, just a half tablespoon of Dawn + the Lemi-shine stuff is what I use, just a teaspon or so of the powder. I understand there is a gel, but we don't want to use that for some reason.

Try auto wash soap that contains wax. Better than Dawn, IMHO

:plusone: This is what I'm using too.

Thanks lamrith. Have a 64oz container of Meguiar's Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner in my Amazon cart now. Will give it a spin, so to speak

While that may work as well as Dawn, to get the benefit of the wax (the reason for using car soap in the first place) this might be a better choice: https://smile.amazon.com/Meguiars-G1774 ... B00353PWAW

Or this: https://smile.amazon.com/Eagle-One-E300 ... B00J65I1HO

Probably matters not at all if you are shooting your lovely own loads right away or within a few years. That said I have brass done with wash and wax stored in garage conditions I tumbled 3 winters ago and still shiny.

In addition to Lemi-shine, I use armor-all car wash. It cleans great and the brass stays bright and shiny.
