Spent the afternoon Wednesday at my usual haunt, the Marysville Rifle Club (MRC). The weather was perfect. Mostly sunny and right around 50°. Not a single person there other than myself for the entire three hours. I collected a lot of data for my .224 Valkyrie loads.

I shot five different combinations (ladders) of bullet, powder, primer and COL recipes, each with 5 round groups at graduated amounts of respective powders used. All groups were shot at 200 Yards. It was a really good day.

I found an Excel program that is sufficient for the data tracking for the time being. I've discovered that the the data collection and logging is time consuming work.

My best group of the day is pictured at the bottom. There were some other decent groups too.

GROUP 03
Five rounds at 200 Yards with 1.607" MOA
Sierra HPBT SMK 69gr
IMR 4064 @ 24.5gr
Rem 7½ BR
COL 2.263

The fun begins! :thumbsup2:

First, if your group measures 1.607" at 200 yards, then that's roughly 0.8 MOA. You need to account for the distance.

I use Excel to track my reloading. Give me a bit, I'll show you what it looks like.

Well, I actually use Numbers which is a Mac program, but this started life as an Excel file.

I have a tab for every caliber that I reload; here's an example of my .308 data:

I also have a "Totals" tab, which automatically tallies the total number of rounds from each caliber, and totals all of them at the bottom:

(Yeah, the case gauge thing got thrown in there too.)

I also have a few tabs for other info; for example, I have one for settings/tips/tricks for the RCBS Chargemaster.
