Are you able to self quarantine?
2 week?
This would mean missing work... at least you can finally get those project guns finished. There’s always a bright side.
The rest - water and food can be brought to you. You can order Amazon Fresh or equivalent right to your door. Granted it hasn’t hit the delivery drivers.
So lessons learned - Have cash in small denominations. Obviously stock up on food. Gloves. Bleach and such. Gas? TP. And from abroad - surgical masks

I am currently quarantined AT work... On a ship, if that shit makes it here I'm fucked. But I guarantee the company isn't going to stop people from rotating in and out each offload. People here from all over the globe...

Couple of weeks, no problem . . . as long as the water keeps flowing and the electricity keeps sparking.

If the water and utilities stayed on, I could go 6 months. Easily have 200 meals on hand. 1 meal per day. Would get bland near the end, but could manage. Have 6 bags of dog food, and they go thru about 1 bag per month. Have enough vitamins, meds, and supplies to manage. Even TP. >60 rolls of TP on hand, and use 1 per week. Plenty of toothpaste, soaps, dish soap, laundry soap, etc.
Full freezers x2, full refrigerator, overloaded pantry and overflow into a closet.
With online orders and supplemental fresh foods, may need the occassional gap filled, easily a year.
All of this would mean being creative for entertainment and fitness.

This exact conversation came up at dinner last night. We have always been ones to buy a few extra cans of food or a case or two of water when we hit the stores so we would be fine, but I think this weekend we might jsut buy a little bit more than we usually do.
Extra dog food, whiskey, and guacamole. Ya know, the basics.
