I am looking at this offer on midwayusa 10% under msrp https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1022445078 a bit cheaper than official website or amazon.

Reviews seems good. Anybody here tried it?

This is the way to go for many. Buy it and take it home today, and don't worry about shipping lead times, carrier mishandling, etc.

AFAIK I haven't tried but universally Wise is seen as much blander and less tasty. Mountain House has always been the gold standard as far as its ability to taste good.

A lot of them are marketed towards outdoorsy, active types, so the sodium isn't a problem for them.
Thrive is exactly and only what is on the can.
