Anyone have a 3d printer? I need something printed.
It's a reusable 40mm Nato gas mask canister. Here's the files https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4266578 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4490682 And no, I'm not going to use this DIY canister for a serious 'incident' but I find I'm using my gas mask for quite a bit, going into the attic, painting, etc. and for SOME of those tasks just a homemade particulate filter is needed. The Size is a bit wide so the smaller printers won't work. Anyone able to help out? I would of course over reimburse you for your materials. |

I'd love to help, but I need to do an upgrade on my printer before I could reliably print with Nylon, which would be a better option for these filters than the PLA that I typically use.
The designer states that PLA is an acceptable material, so we could try printing one in PLA. Feel free to send me a PM if you'd like to give it a try. Thanks, Jim |
