we have tomatoes and peppers I think going in the greenhouse, along with several flower starts. Slowly getting there.
we are skipping some of the crops that take up a lot of space or just aren't worth the effort over what you can get in store (broccoli, potatoes, and a few others).

Just took off the black plastic sheeting off of my garden area today. Having some organic top soil delivered this weekend and hope to have all my starts in the ground by next Saturday.

I started making some wooden planter boxes out of cedar fencing planks. They take a little time to make but only cost about $5 each in materials.

Is anyone into aquaponics? This is my second system (it's not finished yet) and I'm just now starting some seeds to fill my beds. I also have a ton of tomatoes and peppers started too. I also have a HUGE soil garden. Just planted a whole lotta peas this last week and finally got around to cleaning up my strawberry patch. I love peas. A lot. Mulched all the artichokes that made it as well. I probably shoulda split a couple of them but whatever. I like the plants big.

Wow, that makes my garden look like utter crap.
I have read some articles about aquaponics, but have never tried it.
