I put a solar kit at our campsite to plug in the trailer and just to learn about solar crap for a future off grid cabin I'm planning.
I used this kit

I already bought a new/bigger inverter and I'll get it hooked up this weekend.
The two 100 watt panels
The charge controller , batteries , inverter , and a cigarette lighter power outlet
here's the new inverter that I'll put in
I through it all together in a hurry to see if it would work, I'll clean up the wiring and add a couple of fuses now that I know I've got it wired correctly.
Right now the fridge in my camper runs off propane all day so my idea with this solar kit to plug the trailer into and run the fridge on AC setting. The only propane use will be the furnace and water heater. Two 5 Gal. bottles sould last all summer now.
I shouldn't need to run the generator when we go camping anymore.
