Evan tested the production M4SD-II suppressors today with M855 62 grain green tip on the range (B&K 2209 meter 1M left of the muzzle testing).
Un-suppressed M4 avg of 10 rounds: 14.5" M855 1M Mil-std/Flash Comp 168DB
Suppressed M4 avg of 10 rounds: 14.5" M855 1M Mil-std/M4SD-II 134DB (or -34DB) FRP=132DB
Suppressed MK18 avg of 10 rounds: 10.3" M855 1M Mil-std/M4SD-II 139DB (approx -29DB)
The 10.3"/M4SD-II combo put one round over 140 and that was 140.5DB.
These numbers basically mirror our prototype which slightly outperformed the KAC NT4. In that former test, the NT4 averaged 138.5DB on the 14.5" barrel with M855 ammo.
He's going to be putting a video together, and I'll post that when we have it.
He also POI tested the M4SD-II suppressor on the 14.5 with 55 grain ammo (which is more accurate than steel core M855.)
The POI shift with the suppressor attached was 1.3MOA almost exactly straight DOWN.
