Just finished up with day 4 of shooting in North Dakota...well over 800 Prairie Dogs were "thinned" from the herd....lol No shots under 200 yards due to water issues...shots ranged from 200 to 650 yards....what a blast...here are the tools of the trade...my good friend Pat doing some work..

Hey, I recognize that Savage in the foreground!

That's a lot of long-range shooting . . . nicely done. Any rattlers or other excitement?

We had trouble this year with the bad winter flooding and freezing out some of our regular dog towns, killing a bunch of them. Pretty low numbers for us. How far east were you Big Daddy?

Nope...Just PD's...

The Savage/Nightforce combo was deadly.... :snipersmilie:
Wait until you see what is already in the works for next year....

We are building guns designed for ONE SPECIFIC bullet...
My hunting partner is doing the research for the optimum twist rate for "our" bullet of choice.
Custom twist rate barrel will be the key.

Bismarck, ND

The lower portion (50 to 200 yards) was barren due to earlier flooding we suspect.
However they moved up the hill a little and they were THICK...

My longest was 517 yards on the laser and my buddy Pat's was 642 yards.
