I'm afraid you're right. That's why I've been keeping an eye on the recent backlash against the NRA. I've never been able to contribute a lot to them, and I think that is the case with a lot of members. A little bit from a lot of guys /(gals, ladies, women, whatever they want to be called now) is a ton of bucks. If they don't get their house in order, bet I'm not the only one that will bail. Been a Life Member for over 40 years. During that time more good than negative has been accomplished. Lately, when the opposition has increased exponentially, it seems like the legislative and advocacy components haven't kept up. Whether it's due to the alledged fiscal shennanigans etc. or not, I can't say, but it appears that the members money has been spent ineffectively at least, and potentially irresponsibly. As the letter said, Clean Up Your Act. I'm also pretty sure that's not so secret code fore dumping LaPierre.

Withhold financial contributions until I see positive changes.

I have a year or two left on membership, it won't get renewed as long as LaPierre is still in office. I flat out dislike the guy. I'm sending money to the other organizations tho.

I have sent this message several times by email, several more by telephone calls, and every time I see NRA reps face to face. I encourage this message being repeated by others if they feel the same way.

The NRA is a very important player in the 2A struggle, but Mr LaPierre is a net negative to our side in my opinion.

LaPiere needs to step down immediately.

You all need to download the non-profit statement for the NRA. It'll make you all piss your pants at the amount of money being.......... shitted down the drain.

It’s out there, I doubt all the slack jawed fudds that keep sending the NRA money are smart enough to decipher the symbols printed on the documents. This doesn’t change the fact that the NRA remains the biggest gun organization. It just needs to be fixed and without a regime change I don’t see it happening. What I do see is the leadership so desperate to hold on to control will steer the ship right into an iceberg and Bloomberg and Feinstein will host and viewing party to watch it sink......

This is my concern.

They aren't the only gun rights org with questionable money practices.

That's one of the reasons they are all so ineffective here...
