2nd Amendment Industries in Bellevue sent me an email just now, with an update on their pricing, given the changes occurring July 1st. I've updated their section, and included in their statement about "10 business day no response release". If you find out about changes that other stores have please let me know.

Yes, I got the same, and will post here because of their clarity.

WA I-1695 and shipping UPDATES
First off, thank you for being a loyal customer, and we apologize in advance for this unsolicited email. Unfortunately the implementation of I-1639 is quickly approaching (July 1st) and there are a few things that need to be communicated around sales and transfers moving forward.

In these weeks leading up to July 1 we have experienced a sharp increase in transfers. If you are expecting at transfer please DO NOT call or visit the shop to pick up your item before we have contacted you. Incoming transfers are currently taking 1-2 hours to check-in, and status inquiries only slow the process. Thank you for your cooperation.

After July 1st, all pistol, semi-automatic rifle, frame, and receiver background checks will be performed by local law enforcement; to include background checks for concealed pistol license holders. All of the previously mentioned items will be subject to a 10 business day processing period (at 2A we observe the 10 business day no-response release). Unfortunately due to the increased processing time and overhead related to these changes, the transfer fee for ALL pistols, semi-automatic rifles, frames, and receivers will be $35 after July 1st.

Additionally an $18 WA State Semiautomatic Assault Rifle (SAR) fee will now be collected for every semi-automatic rifle sold or transferred. Yes, it is complete bullshit.

We will still be able to process shotguns, single-shot rifles, lever-action rifles, and pump-action rifles the "old" way, using the FBI NICS instant background check system, and the transfer fee remains $30 for these items.

For more information please see the WA DOL I-1639 FAQ:
https://www.atg.wa.gov/initiative-1639#2

In other business...

We can no longer receive FedEx Express packages at our premises address; all FedEx Express packages must be sent to the new mailing address on our FFL. We can still receive UPS Air, UPS Ground, and USPS packages at our premises address without issue. It is your responsibility to ensure that your shipper sends FedEx Express packages to the correct mailing address. FedEx Express packages sent to the premises address will be automatically returned by FedEx moving forward.

If you've made it this far, thank you for your time and attention. We look forward to working with you in spite of these changes. Remember, every gun law is an infringement; please support the Second Amendment Foundation.

Cheers,
Your friends at 2nd Amendment Industries

So they are not honoring the grandfathering of the lowers. I think that is worth noting on their listing as it is a departure from the existing law.

It means you let them know that it’s coming, so when a gun shows up on their doorstep they know why it’s there.

As opposed to simply, “Hey I’m Steve, I’m here to pick up the AK-47. It should have been here three weeks ago, where is it?”.

Shout out for South Sound Guns in Lacey. Free transfers and decent gun and parts pricing. These guys are going to get a lot of ceracote work and free advertising from me for giving out free transfers and being good fellas. Those who charge high transfer fees or complain about them don't seem to understand the concept of a loss leader or customer loyalty

That seems backwards

Shouldn't they charge less if they know it's coming and have the buyers info ready to go?
