Where I live doesn't matter, because I can get to someone else's stash in about 12 minutes on a good day, and I could walk it in about an hour or so.

Damn... you’re my 1st waypoint to reach on my way to home! You know I should store a “go bag” at your place!

Currently my commute is to go down three decks to the engine room. In the event of a disaster I think we'll be ok hiding in the bearing sea. Plenty of food if you like pollock... We make over 400 metric tons of water a day, so we are good there. Now fuel... Not sure how much we can burn before we get unstable, usually use about 22 cubic meters a day, but could definitely cut down on consumption of we had to.

Used to be a couple blocks, now it's a couple miles. Still walk it though, the weather isn't going to be nice forever. I'm sure you guys know.

68 miles, each way.

136 miles per day.

Even worse...even if I were to follow an azimuth and go directly overland, it would STILL follow I-5.

barf.
