MRE and high heat fluctuations will ruin it faster than anything. After a good summer In the car... it’s basically done.

Don’t get me wrong. All those points are valid to a point.

It’s the longevity with extreme heat/cold cycles in a car over a year that destroys the condition of the MRE.
