IMO the best option is the trailer. You have a tow rig. It runs well, if you buy another motorized vehicle there are numerous potential issues with assuring it’s reliable, and then you have 2 vehicles.

The security issue is a factor of where you’re parking the trailer. In public, sure it’s a target. If you can find a person with property, an extension cord, and low rent expectations you’re set. Moving your life back into a private setting would alleviate many of your concerns. Drive the rig for basic work, collect your disability, live a quieter life for a while.

Getting away from the daily drama of living in public places might do you some good.

Just my $0.02

Nope. Tow rig is not doing well. Still fighting with insurance over damages. I'd be ahead if I sold it with issues and pocket the insurance check, IMO.

I'm sure there are companies that would be happy to have you park permanently in exchange for security

This seems like a viable option. Trucking Company, Storage facility, tow yards etc.

Call some of the local logging outfits down there. They hire people to watch their landing and equipment.

Hey TW, maybe put an ad on CL or something for onsite Security in exchange for a place to Park and Stay plus some Salary. I think the Valley between Renton and Sumner would be ideal for that with all the Commercial properties and Crime problems.

B&M Logging in Chehalis has been looking for a night security person for their main shop just south of Chehalis. Between downtown and Rush Rd.

They’re good people would probably let a guy use shop space for working on stuff. Their shop is big enough for sure.

All the links I posted were eithe offering free housing plus wages or in areas where housing and RV parking is cheap plus pay enough to make a go of it.

Directly on topic the 5th wheel tractor is cool.

Great advice right there..... :thumbsup2:
