Rear sight: deleted - sort of. A different rear sight is recessed into the slide.
Side controls have been flattened.
Compensator cuts.
Interesting concept. Want to shoot one since I like the original so much (still don't have one, but...)

I have a P365 & P365XL. Not gonna sell either. Wouldn't give .25¢ for this version, stupid, stupid idea on the sights. S & W and ASP tried similar sights and they failed miserably.
If I felt that it needed anti-snag, I'd grind away on the slide and have it coated. Cheaper than another gun.

Honestly, I have a p365 and it is in a specific spot in my carry rotation, but I really don’t like it that much. Something weird about the way the grip ramps forward at the bottom feels strange. I’d prefer a G43, Shield or Kahr PM9 almost any day. The ONLY advantage in my eyes is the higher capacity, but an extra mag will get you that with the others. Taking the sights off it makes it even less appealing to me.

+1
It’s a stupid idea. Proven stupid but if you want one... there you go. Go right ahead. Not selling mine. It’s become my primary carry.

I understand what they’re trying to do but I don’t like it. The p365 is very accurate for a small pistol and IMO shoots like an compact to full sized pistol with the extended mags. Losing the front sight makes it a high capacity snub. No thanks.
I’ll pass on the new version. I like my p365 just how it is.
What's that highly respected training outfit called? Rearsight, thats right! Stupid me.
That's funny.

As mentioned above, the ASP along with many snubby revolvers use recessed sites. Yawn.
I like porting but many people don't, particularly on a subcompact due to the perceived issues. Another yawn.
I'll gladly pick up a deeply discounted working P365 when the "gotta-have-it" crowd dumps their guns for the new one...

If someone sells a pistol, just to buy the exact same pistol with no sights and smoother controls, they may not be very good with their money. Just a thought.

- less chance of snag on the draw - less muzzle flip for follow up shots
Cons:
- shorter effective barrel length and velocity - Even more deafening than a short barrel already is - Blinding flash at night - Harder to do an emergency one-handed slide release
Some might like this, but those compromises are too much for me. Pass.
I was wondering when guttersnipe sights would return as a borrow from the ASP. This gun just needs transparent grips.
