Welcome. There are some places. Best thing to do is to find someone in the neighbor hood that will allow you to shoot on their land. There are some other spots along various power line clearings and a few pits. But things are fairly limited up north here.
I Know you are looking for free but you might really want to consider joining a range to have a regular place to shoot. Machais let's members shoot most any time out to 200 yards and does have a monthly (most months) 500 yards practice and match. Very hard to find 500 yard shoots this side of the cascades.
A lot depends on what you want to shoot mostly.
