So I shot ASI over the weekend, a good intro shooting sport with my EDC, a P320 compact rx.

I do like the fact that I can do it relatively well. But I certainly didn't choose my EDC based on it's competitive aspects, but... a lot of competitive aspects are the same as defensive aspects. Ultimately, a lot of things are revealed in competition shooting with your EDC, and it's the cheapest way to get into shooting sports!

It strikes me that most competition shooters don't use their EDC regularly, I certainly don't. But I guess I at least haven't ruled it out from happening, I always have what I need to shoot a match with my EDC for whatever reason.

That’s awesome.

My EDC is a P365, and the slide is off right now getting milled first a red dot. This will be the first time that I’ve had a carry gun with a red dot.

I’m looking forward to doing some running and gunning with it, to hopefully get more skills with the gun that’s normally on my hip!

That's totally awesome! I'm really eyeballing how either the romeo zero works out on the XL or perhaps the 365 mill job like you're doing.

What red dot are you getting it milled for? I noticed there is enough room to actually get a DPP or Romeo 1 on their, which I'm definitely interested in...

He gave a discount for sending in three slides at a time. With the discount, and with the black nitride refinishing, the total price was $125.

My next problem . . . I've decided that I want a Holosun HS507K, which means that I need to get those rear two posts removed. :crybaby:

I shot ASI a few years ago with my G34 with a red dot. While it was fun, Rick from Power Factor ran a BUG revolver and scored I think 14th in a field of 25-30. It made me realize that ASI is meant for your EDC. Not a “Well I can carry it but I normally carry something else.”

So my club now has ASI. I plan on running my G19 and G48. I hope I do well but I expect it to be more a learning experience for me then a high score in ASI.
