Sipped a healthy pour of Weller Antique 107 and now I’m nursing a tiny shot of George T. Stagg. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth and I hate how much it costs because I would drink it all the time if I could!

Cotton Hollow Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Generally a beer budget guy, at least until my alimony commitments are done. Picked this up on lark at our local Spec's as I've been hearing about the recent growth in Texas craft distilleries. Have to admit that while I know my way around single malt scotch to a certain extent, that I don't really know shit from shinola when it comes to whiskey or bourbon. Let the learning curve begin

Let the learning curve begin Sounds good!! I'd try it. But oh, be careful!! I started with a little dabbling in Scotch, but once I discovered bourbon it was all downhill. Before you know it, you'll be taking trips to Kentucky just to learn and taste and you'll be spending WAY more than your budget is supposed to be and hunting for unique and limited bourbons and you'll end up with more whiskey than guns... Ask me how I know...

I’m thankful for bourbon today. Specifically drinking Four Roses Single Barrel Private Selection. Cheers!
