Praying for safe travels, and a smooth transition 500 miles, hit snow at Bakers City, Or. Put up with a bitch at the gas station because the nozzle kept shutting off. When I told her to move the handle 45 degrees, she snapped at me, "I know my job". Oh what fun. When I come back over in the spring, I'll be looking everyone up.

Just pump your own gas, I believe they made it legal in non-city areas, last i checked. Hell, I pumped it even in Portland and just got told I wasn't supposed to do that. When I asked them who was gonna stop me, and feigned looking around, and shrugging my soldiers, the guy got the best 'I don't get paid enough for this shit' look and walked away. Honestly though, I usually just let them do it. Gas is still cheaper down there, and I get full service? Yes please.

Gas was the same price as I paid at Wallyworld in Auburn before I left. Now at Costco in Boise we filled only one car today, (didn't feel like going back again, not until tomorrow to fill mine), $1.99 for regular.

So, when does that "Old enough to know better" shit kick in??? I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.
