Planning upgrades to my 10/22. Was thinking of a Volquartsen lightweight tension barrel with carbon fiber wrap. Today was looking at the Gemtech Mist 22 integral barrel as an alternative

Anyone on the forum have any mileage with this product? Would be great to hear other folk's impressions before dropping coin.

I have one, takedown model. What is your questions? Sorry, edited because now I read the whole post, sorry.

It does a good job at noise suppression, and it looks good too, as it is not obnoxiously long like when you stick a can on a normally 16" barrel.

The accuracy is "good" but consider you only have about 10" of rifled barrel. My fixed barrel 10/22 16" with thread on suppressors do perform better... but still, the MIST22 is good.

Checkout Elevated Silence. They have the quietest integral for shooting cheap bulk HV.

Thanks for the tip :thumbsup2: . I've been considering both the Gemtech MIST and Tacsol TSS integrated suppressors. Will take a look at Elevated Silence.

At the moment there are some other priorities: taking the grandkids charter fishing next month and going on a family ski trip on SW Colorado at end of March. Still plenty of time to make a decision on this.
