I'm in the market for a new set of hunting boots for this fall. We've been hunting in the Okanogan area, and you get all kinds of terrain and weather. One year it rained the whole time, another it snowed the whole time, this past year it was 40s-50s except one night it snowed (I ended up wearing just my Salomon trail runners the whole time and they stayed dry and warm.) So an all around boot that is waterproof is what I'm looking for. I have a nice set of leather logger style boots that I like a lot, super warm, but they are heavy AF. I've been reading reviews online and talking to a few other hunting buddies of mine to narrow it down for further research. So far the brands have been: Kuiu, Kenetrek, crispi, and Solomon.
What do you wear and why?

Crispi Crispi Crispi! Comfortable, tough as hell, and great ankle support.

After switching to Crispis 5 years ago I’ll never buy another hunting boot again. I didn’t want to believe the hype, but it’s real.

I'm guessing by the endorsement you have a pair of Crispi's. Which style are you currently using?

For some reason, Crispi has a naming process thats slightly confusing. However, I have the Summit GTX. Uninsulated. Other than having some cold toes this year, they are amazing. 99% of the time for me, they will be warm enough, just a long day stationary glassing in feet of snow, my little piggys got cold.
