So now that Sheriff Palmer is not the Sheriff anymore, has anyone had to renew from Grant county?

I hear there are one or two others down there that are friendly to the cause but you have to figure out when they do them and be extra early.....

Grant County seems pretty far, did you all not just do it in Multnomah?

That is odd, it would seem that they only have 45 days to deny it, and they have to send a denial by certified mail. https://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/166.292

There should be no reason to deny me since I can pass any background check. So to anyone who's thinking of using Multnomah, be aware you may be waiting quite a while. It took about 30 days (from submitting an application) just to get fingerprinted. So my total wait time so far has been over 90 days from application submission and I'm still waiting.

So Sheriff Palmer is no longer there but the new guy is still renewing them. I had a friend who was there a couple weeks ago and even though his had expired months ago it was still renewed!

I renewed mine last Friday. $50 and I was out in 15 minutes. The New Sheriff honors Sheriff Palmers Licenses! Reservations/appointment required

I did mine in Columbia County, OR. Just rec'd a letter reminding me that I was 60 days away from expiration, and the form for mail-in renewal was attached. 30 minutes later, in the comfort of my home, a renewal was sent.

May run into some obstacle. If you want to do the fight and climb uphill… go for it. Make life easier and just get it in Columbia County… Once you are approved by a county in OR the OR conceal permit is recognized in all OR counties.
