What made my day yesterday? Dragging my old aching body out of bed, quick shower, and on the road to a remote client. Stopped for breakfast, popping 4 aleves. (Yes, I hurt that much). Sun pops out for a second, making me realise, "I'm glad to be alive"...... Arrive at my first stop, crawl inside the old airplane and replace a bunch of old antenna cables...... Body complaining all the way, working in uncomfortable positions, and confining spaces. Run out of time, and having to go to the next stop, advising the customer I'll be back after lunch. Drive to the next plane, thankfully the place was open and ready for me to get inside. Start working on the autopilot.... was able to wave a "magic wand" and fix the autopilot. Knees all crunched up, trying to get access takes its toll.... Go have lunch, and return to the first appointment and finish up. Arrive back to my office, all sore and unload tools and stuff, and put them all away. do the paperwork, justifying my pitiful existence...... Time running out faster that I wanted...... Run to the bank and get some hard-earned greenbacks....... thats been waiting for me for a while.... Chat online here for a few, disclosed what my next item on my agenda for the day..... I'm told.... Hey, while there, check out his....... ( I can't pronounce it ) .... Realising time is getting short for the drive to Seattle from Gig Harbor, crank the destination address into the GPS... going through downtown Seattle, and the GPS takes a shit and starts working all wonky. I'm heading in the general direction hoping the thing will lock back on..... It does..... I arrive at the location with 10 mins to spare. so I park, and just relax for a few moments..... Whoops, time to go knock on the door... Uhh.....Sergey? Yep, thats me he says. Come on in. We do the paperwork.... Carry out 3 pistols with names that this deaf post can't even remember how to pronounce their names..... (and I did ask) Guy in chatroom costs me another extra 2 hunnerd bucks.... ( You know who you are.....) Yep. A good day. Got another great day coming up, when I head out to shoot them, and make lots of noise that even "I" can hear. MadPick: Does that do it for ya?

My fiancee got home from work at 2:00 today and called me. There is a bulldozer and crane tearing it down now. Joy! I always wondered why the Fire Department insists on putting out fires in houses like that. Wouldn't it be nice if they just hosed down the houses around it and let it burn to the foundation. Would also be cheaper for the owner to dispose of what's left.

Made my year so far: Went down to Newport, Or with the woman and most of her stellar family to celebrate her 29th (+1) bday. Had a Roake's Nordious Maximus Burger(pics will follow) and finished it. Went to Rogue Brewery (amazing and inspiring and delicious). Charter fishing next morning getting biggest catch (8 lb ling cod) of all 4 boats and came home with 15 lbs of meat. Lil gambling and drinking at Chinook casino then took off home.. And what could have been a disaster on the 5hr trip back when her starter in the engine decided to quit at a gas station in McMinnville, became an opportunity for her to bond with her 5 year old niece while her brother and I (whom magically only lived 5 blocks away from where we broke down!) got down to Napa with 3 minutes to them closing, and then back to the car and finish the swap 1 minute before it started pouring buckets. And I even got to use an AK (okay an RPK w/e), the day was a good day (weekend).

Thanks for the congratulations, folks! We're definitely not going to tie the knot soon, it will likely be 6 or more months. Not sure what kind of wedding it will be, might not go for the whole churchy bit, we're not sure at all. Will keep y'all updated. And of course, everyone's invited.
