Pay It Forward: I have a used Remington 700, ADL, Long Action Stock in Walnut. Stock is in 'good' condition. It's left over from when I did a rifle project on the action.

You'll have to travel to Covington for pick up, as I won't spend my gas on something I'm giving away for free. :hangloose:

First person to correctly provide military weapon number desigation for the following service weapons' nicknames gets the item.

The Garand Rifle = M
The Black Rifle = M
The Pig = M
The SAW = M
Old Slab Sides = M

Your Question as to nick names is vague? Every unit had there own Nick names.?????? Every Solder had their own names for their Piece.
Garand M1-A1 Some called it the Bitch
Black Rifle, early Nam era, M-16 Death rifle made by Matell.
The Pig- M1a Carbine, at best for shooting pigs or what ever you were aiming at.
SAW- 5.56 My Baby
Old slab sides- .50 Browning Automatic. Ma duce.

This is just the wooden stock off my Remington 700 in 30-06. Nice quality maple stock for ADL (hidden mag well), in Long Action (for 30-06, 300 Win Mag, etc.).
