The wife and I are going to Benaroya Hall in Seattle for a concert (her thing), and I wanted to know if anyone here knows if you can conceal carry there. I've looked all over online trying to find something that will tell me, but got nothing. I'm asking here before I call asking "can I conceal carry in your concert hall". Probably won't be the best phone call.

If you call, and ask they will automatically say no even if they don't have a policy. No is the default answer when talking to the uninformed.

If you are going to see Chris Cornell, I hate you.

Looks like it is private property, so they probably have a no firearms policy. That being said, it carries no criminal consequence if you break that rule, only if they ask you to leave and you do not.

Carry concealed, carry on.

If one carries concealed and nobody sees it, is it really there? :wink05: :wink05:

I went the other day (Jan 2016) and agree. Saw no signs and found no policy online. Carried without issue.

IMHO, I do not think a lot of business's even think about patron's and concealed carry. Despite the news, despite the number of CCW permits issued in Washington state over the past year, people go one living their lives oblivious to real events. Yes, it hits the news, corporations in the spotlight trying to scramble and make a political statement about guns and concealed carry.
When I am in Seattle, I really think people are so busy concentrating on being liberal, gay marriage, homelessness, coffee, tattoos and body piecing that Firearms and CCW are the last things on their minds. It is all about politics. I will agree with Golddiggers14, "No" is the default answer.

Personally, when I am in Seattle, I do not give a flying 'F**k" what people or a business thinks, if there is no metal detector, I carry on, keep my mouth shut and eyes open. thumbsup

Update to 3+ year old info about conceal carry at Benaroya Hall:

Attended an event there last night (12/2/18). No signs, no bag checks, no metal detectors. But remember: concealed means concealed!
