Thinking of picking up CityPASSes for my family and want to see which I should leave the firearm at home for.

The locations in question are:
  • Space Needle | NO GO (Metal Detectors)
  • Seattle Aquarium | Good to go
  • Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour | Sounds good to go
  • Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) | Good to go
  • Woodland Park Zoo | Good to go
  • Chihuly Garden and Glass |
  • Pacific Science Center | Good to go

So far I'm seeing a no go for the Space Needle.

Edited based on some replies below.

Been doing city passes for years when friends and relatives come to town.
Argosy harbor tour is the best by far. Serve drinks too.
Science center is OK if it comes with a decent iMax 3d film that fits your schedule.

Haven't been to the Chihuly gardens or pop culture museum. They used to have the Experience Music Project instead.

They took off Museum of Flight?? That sucks. That and the cruise were the top two.

Edit: Damn, didn't know the Space Needle had metal detectors. Didn't have them last time we were there. What, is someone going to hijack it?
Aquarium and zoo....depends on how much time you want to kill.

Space Needle is a no-go, it has metal detectors. The rest all have a no firearm policy, but it's just a private policy not a law. I have carried at the Aquarium, MoPOP, Woodland, and Pacific Science Center with no issues (the others, I have never gone, so I can't report). Concealed is concealed.

Thanks Massivedesign. That's the info I was looking for in regards to whether the locations have detectors. I understand the main public places that we can't carry are 21+ locations.
