Looking to have some windows tinted. Anyone have a recommendation they'd like to share? Thanks.

Foss audio did a great job tinting the front door windows on my 2016 Colorado Crew cab. I had the wife's new Cruze front door windows done there as well. Like 6 months now and both look perfect still. 3 choices on the Tint and very reasonable. I used the one in Kent, they also did a remote starter on the Cruze as well. Oh, and a new Stereo in my 2005 Colorado too. I am a repeat customer there.

What's a round-about cost to do the front drivers/passenger windows, to match stock tint of the back?....was thinking of doing this to my wife's grocery getter/little kid shuttle. I'll look at Foss, thanks for the info guys, was just thinking about this today!

As I recall I stepped up to the middle film just because. The tint matches perfect too.

Auto tint Northwest in Lacey/Puyallup do an excellent job. I have had 4 vehicles tinted by them, and have not had a single issue. They will do an entire car for $150, and up from there depending on the quality of tint you want. Just remember, not all window tint is the same. You will have to pay more for better quality of course. http://www.autotintnw.com/

They tinted our fleet cars at work, and also did both my personal cars. Every time I have been there they have been completely swamped with customers. After my first time going and seeing the quality, I knew why.

Accutint (Shoreline or the Airport Way location)
Get Ceramic film, stay away from dyed film. Metallic is ok. You get what you pay for.
3M Crystalline or Formula One are the top dogs.

Priced Ceramic at Foss per usrifle's recommendation. (I was in the area anyway) $350 for 9 windows. They did mention they have a "groupon" going that will save some cash.
I was surprised they only had ceramic as low as 10%. Is that normal? I was hoping for 5% at most.

Going off memory, I believe there is Pinnacle 5%. That's pretty damn low. In our weather, when the Fall/Winter hits, 5% will make it difficult to see. Think about roads with no street lights or low lights, grocery store parking lots, freeways/highways in rainy weather. In pure sunshine, tints are awesome. When it's gloomy, things get dark quick....especially for my old eyes.
With 3M, I think they may only get down to 20%. But it's all about color, glare reduction, sheen, interior color, etc. All films aren't created equal.
Is this a daily driver? Getting something that low would probably get you pulled over versus just staying around the legal limit. The law changed and was lowered a few years ago. I think the limit is around 24%....I believe. But there are so many factory tinted/dyed glass out there on SUVs and Minivans that look darker, that you're probably never going to get pulled over for a tint unless you're doing something else. No windshield tinting either, just get the clear stuff if you're worried about UV.

Adding 30% window tint to an already factory tinted window will yield about 24%, which is the legal limit for front windows. The Foss Groupon deal looks amazing and is about $200 off including tax savings. A steal. Not all films are created equally either. Some will block more heat than others too, but will cost a little bit more.
edit: The Foss Groupon deal is for their low end film. The ceramic heat reduction film would run $300 for my seven windows to be done.
