Anyone have any info/experience with conceal carry at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma? I am heading there for a company event today, so not sure if security etc will be the same as a game day event. I'll keep an eye out for signs etc. and try and get a picture if I see anything.

All these venues are on high alert and taking extra measures.

Before last year they checked bags but not much else. But the football games have increased their metal detector screening and patting down.

With any of these events (stadiums) I recommend deep conceal carry (depending on your availabilty of choices of firearm and holsters)...

Cheney Stadium just went through a major re-build so I don't know if they built in "extra security" measures or not. I'm sure if they were to re-build now... they would add those measures.

Let us know how it goes... thumbsup

I was just there two weeks ago for a company event also, and got in cc'ing with no issue. They only checked my wifes bag and we were in with no problems.

Ok. Got the face time I needed to with enough people to verify I "was there" but a day like today I'm bit going to waste on a crapy company event... I'm grabbing some ammo and heading down to the capital forest.

I didn't notice any signs about weapons and there was no security at the gate. There were a few muscle-y types in security shirts inside standing around. But they weren't hassling anybody.

Since this comes up as a top listing on Google, I'll throw in my own current information to an old thread. I successfully carried a OWB P3AT to last night's game with zero problems. Didn't see any signs outside to prohibit it and didn't get frisked.

I went to a Co event last year and they had metal detector out at the foss gate to get to the private event area. I heard they do at main entrence too.

Yeah, they put detectors in last year, much to my disappointment.

They keep it pretty simple, though, and there are some ways to get around it if you really wanted. But for me, part of why I love going to games there is that I feel so much safer in the first place than in downtown Seattle.

Since this still comes up for google searches,
They now have a metal detector and wands at the main area but not in the private. Best to probably just leave it in the car.

Edit whoops didn't see the responses when I refreshed my page.

By private do you mean the reserve/party section in the outfield? They had a metal detector there last year. I am heading there next weekend and can update.
