The year was 1983 and my dad knew what was ahead. 1984. He bought a semi-auto, went through the NFA process, was yelled at by the LEO who had to sign off on his paperwork, and had it converted to full auto and cut down to an SBR multi-caliber rifle. At this time there was still places on public and private land in Florida that you could go out into the woods or a "pit" and shoot. Jacksonville still had a Wild West reputation. My grandfather had come over from the panhandle for visit. So my dad, my uncle, grandpa, and myself all went out to shoot. My uncle brought his Mac-11 and H&k G3. My dad brought his new full auto SBR and his S&W Model 29 6" in high polished nickel. Grandpa brought his camera. My dad never missing an opportunity to get a picture together asked grandpa to take one of us.

We keep this photo in the hallway of our home. When I was regularly reporting my office in Seattle, I kept this 8x10 on my desk facing the walkway. It really pissed off some people. I guess you could say, that's just one moment in life leading to Black Hammer Arms.

You should get that photo blown up to life sized, and have it on the wall in your shop.

Headline it with the following : ALM. All Lives Matter.

I already thought you were the coolest cat I have met in years - the photo just confirms it big time.
