It is this weekend, and I was planning on going. However with work, I am stuck on this side.

I was wondering if anyone could keep an eye out for some decent used 35s for me!

Sometimes. Just like with guns though, some people have some aversion to posting them to the internet so deals sometimes can be had.

This...I bought a really nice 1930-31 Model A complete hood and a really nice set of 1937 Ford pickup running boards for $90 total.

And a NIB Holley 4412 2 barrel carb for $110.

There is lots of junk...but deals are out there. Just like the gunshows.

I am also still stuck driving 20 miles at a time breaking in these new gears. Kinda sucks, and I wouldn't be able to make the drive in the Heep anyway.

Plus, Swap Meets/Gun Shows are not for buying anything anyway... Its for getting out of the house and enjoying the weekend looking at neat stuff.

For those going or wanting to go.

I will have a Holley 670 truck avenger carb for sale in a couple weeks (probably around $200). Coming off my running truck ( it works great. No problems. Just wrong for my truck). These carbs are best for off road and my willys is a street truck. I just ordered a new Holley 650 from ebay and will hopefully be here in the next week. I will officially list it for sale once I have the new carb.

If your interested pm me.

I've done the swap meet selling thing as well.

It'd be a ton better if they allowed beer.

Vendors and Buyers.

Loosen up the wallets and makes the bullshit stories on both sides of the table more palatable.

I think they still have beer garden at the big Portland Swap meet coming up soon.

Me and a buddy go every year. It is tradition now. At least this year it was nice and sunny! LOTS of vendors this year and there were some good deals. I only walked out with a nice 40 LED bumper light bar for $20, but had a good afternoon.
