So I haven't been to the Puyallup show in probably 20 years, but I plan to head down there on Saturday afternoon to have a look around, and keep kicking the bushes for a particular short list of FN-49s. Maybe take the temperature of the K43/G43 market.

Have you guys seen many of either at recent shows?

I suppose I am not surprised on the FN-49s. It seems that most of them have migrated to GunBroker. Still, it will be fun to look around.

You do not need a membership to "shop" or buy firearm accessories or ammo.
You do however need a membership to buy a firearm.
So if you see a gun you like. You buy a membership. If you don't find the gun you like.
You don't not have to buy a membership.

I’m at the show right now, and there is an Egyptian FN-49 (8mm Mauser) for $695.

Century aftermarket stock? If not, that's a good deal.

Thanks guys!

Hope to make it down there after lunch. I am all set for Egyptian s, both Centurized and original, but I am still cruising for a Colombian and a Century Eagle. Plus you never know what other weird stuff you might stumble over!

Also, anyone looking to dip their toes in the FN-49 pool should go look at that gun. $695 for an Egyptian is legit in my opinion, even for a re-stock if it's really in Cherry shape.
